FoodACN

Community guidelines

FoodACN is a professional network, not a noisy social platform. These guidelines keep it a trusted, useful place for food industry professionals.

Be professional

Treat everyone as you would a respected colleague. FoodACN is a professional space for people who take their work seriously.

Be useful

Share knowledge that helps others do better work. Practical insight into audits, standards, compliance and technical practice is what makes the network valuable.

No harassment

Personal attacks, intimidation, discrimination and abusive behaviour have no place here and will lead to removal.

No spam

Do not use the network for repetitive promotion, mass messaging, or unsolicited sales. Keep contributions genuine and relevant.

No aggressive recruitment

Opportunities are welcome through the proper channels. Persistent, unwanted recruitment approaches are not.

No misleading claims

Represent your experience, qualifications and organisation honestly. Do not overstate accreditations, standards or credentials.

No scraping or misuse of member data

Do not harvest, resell or misuse information about members or organisations. Public profiles are intentionally limited for this reason.

Respect confidentiality

Much of this work involves sensitive commercial and safety information. Do not share confidential audit findings, supplier data or client details.

Keep it relevant

Keep discussions focused on food, audit, compliance, quality and technical work. That focus is what sets FoodACN apart.

We may remove content or accounts that breach these guidelines. If you see something that doesn't belong here, please let us know.
